First 8 EHIK pump sets ready for the Guizhou Sanqiang project
In June 2026, EHIK completed the first 8 pump sets for the Guizhou Sanqiang carbon-based new materials project in Liupanshui, Guizhou, China. They are binder pumps and feedstock oil pumps, and they are ready to ship to the site.

The project
A carbon-based new materials project in Guizhou
Shanxi Sanqiang Group is building the Guizhou Sanqiang carbon-based new materials project in Liupanshui, Guizhou, China. EHIK won the pump order for this project.
- Coal tar deep processing
- 500,000 t/year.

- Specialty carbon black and phthalic anhydride.
- Total investment
- RMB 1.5 billion (about USD 211 million).

- Binder pumps and feedstock oil pumps. The first 8 sets were completed in June 2026.
The pump sets
Built for coal tar and viscous binder
- Skid-mounted
- Each set has an explosion-proof motor and the pump on one base.
- Coal tar and binder
- The pumps are adapted for coal tar and high-viscosity binder.
- Wear-resistant wetted parts
- Wear-resistant wetted parts are used for viscous oil that contains impurities.
- Factory tests
- Each set was factory-tested for flow, pressure and continuous running before shipment.
Long-term customer
Nearly 20 years with Sanqiang
EHIK has worked with Shanxi Sanqiang for nearly 20 years. EHIK pitot tube pumps serve Sanqiang’s carbon black lines in Shanxi for feedstock oil and binder transfer.
At Shanxi Sanqiang New Energy, an EHIK pump also replaced a plunger pump in ammonium nitrate wastewater service in 2021.
