Kong 6 Well, Zigong Operating Area · China · 2015
For the same volume of gas-field water pumped.
EHIK replaced the multistage centrifugal pump at Kong 6 Well in the Zigong Operating Area of PetroChina's Shunan Gas Mine. The motor rating was reduced from 95 kW to 45 kW (approximately 127 hp to 60 hp). Site meter readings showed 39.5% lower electricity use for the same volume of gas-field water pumped, with stable operation and fewer repairs.
Illustrative annual electricity savings: approximately 343,700 kWh.
