Continuous Process Feed
Feed liquid into a process that is under pressure. EHIK's urea hydrolysis installation is an example, with pump sets connected directly to the process pipework.
Chemical Processing / High-Head Liquid Duties
High head at low flow for continuous process feed, solvent circulation and liquid transfer. EHIK matches the pump, materials, inlet-side mechanical seal and drive to your liquid and operating conditions, and supplies them as one package.

Where EHIK Fits
A high-pressure process does not always need a large flow. EHIK matches the pump to what each liquid circuit needs.

Keep liquid moving around the process circuit at the flow and head you need. EHIK's applications include solvent circulation in natural-gas purification.
Move process liquids between vessels or into a pressurized system. EHIK's selection includes vessel pressures, height differences and piping losses.
Solve repeated loss of prime, wear, seal problems or a changed production duty. At the Daqing methanol workshop below, an EHIK replacement brought back stable delivery.
Field Experience
The urea installation above is a process-feed example. Below are two more projects: a multistage-pump replacement at Jingbao Xinao and a delivery problem solved in a Daqing methanol workshop.

Jingbao Xinao Chemical / Retrofit Reference
In 2023–2024, EHIK replaced multistage pumps at Jingbao Xinao Chemical. The installed pump sets connect with the plant's process pipework, valves and instruments.
A plant upgrade must fit both the duty and the space. We plan the duty, connection positions, drive footprint and operating access together. Custom flanges can match your existing piping.

The drive, coupling guard, instruments and process connections share the same space. Their layout matters to the people who operate and maintain the unit.
EHIK's outline drawings show nozzle positions, motor footprint and access space before delivery. Your team can then plan the pipework and installation, for a new unit or an existing plant.

At Daqing Oilfield Chemical Group's methanol workshop, the old multistage pump had severe cavitation, often lost prime and delivered an unsteady flow.
EHIK replaced the pump in 2009. Our project records show stable operation after the change.
From Chemistry to Configuration
The liquid data and operating range decide the materials, mechanical seal, drive and supporting equipment.
The main liquid, dissolved chemicals, contaminants and changes in concentration between production and cleaning decide the material and seal.
Normal and startup temperatures and viscosity affect the duty, motor load and seal conditions.
Feed-vessel pressure, liquid level and suction pipework decide the inlet conditions. This is important for hot liquids or liquids that vaporize easily.
Solids, deposits and crystals that form when the liquid cools or the pump stops affect wear and sealing. EHIK uses operating experience to match the pump to these conditions.
Minimum, normal and maximum flow, pressure control and startup needs decide the pump and controls. Precise dosing needs a separate assessment.
EHIK's proposal covers materials, seal, motor and site connections, and follows your plant's equipment requirements.
Why the Pump Design Matters
EHIK designs and manufactures the pump and can supply the drive, base and supporting equipment as a coordinated package.

A rotating casing and stationary pickup tube create high head in one stage. The flow is continuous, with no back-and-forth pumping strokes.
EHIK places the mechanical seal on the inlet side, away from the high-pressure discharge. The seal and its support arrangement are selected for the actual chemistry, temperature and inlet pressure.
Choose a bare-shaft pump, a complete pump set with motor and base, or a skid with the required instruments, valves, pipework and controls. Agree the supply scope early, so your site team knows what arrives assembled.
EHIK also supplies pickup tubes and rotor assemblies, with drawings available to confirm spare-part matching.
Chemical Pump FAQs
The liquid name is only a start. Its composition, operating conditions and system needs make the selection right for your plant.
EHIK supplies pumps for high-head, relatively low-flow liquid duties, including process feed, circulation and transfer. Documented applications include urea hydrolysis feed and solvent circulation. Contact EHIK for help with your chemical pumping application.
No, the chemical name alone is not enough. Composition, concentration, temperature and contaminants affect the material and seal. EHIK helps you check these.
Continuous delivery and precise metering are different needs. A steady feed and an exact dosing accuracy or turndown are assessed differently. EHIK checks the pump and controls against your process.
Liquid temperature, vapor pressure, supply-vessel pressure and level, and suction-line layout affect the inlet conditions and seal support. EHIK considers startup and shutdown as well as normal operation.
Yes. Contact EHIK for help with an existing pump. We look at the operating problem, check wear or seal issues and review the duty and fit for a replacement. Custom flanges can match your existing piping.
No. Contact EHIK directly and include any liquid properties, flow or pressure you know. We reply within 1 business day. We can help develop the selection and provide performance curves, outline drawings and technical support.
